French language files

Until the official WordPress.org Polyglots approval is ready, you can download the French translation for MedienUpload Lite here and install it manually.

The French translation was provided by Pierre Moser (Switzerland) – thank you for the careful, native work.

The suggestions are still “Waiting” on translate.wordpress.org. Once the French Polyglots team approves them, an official language pack will appear – then you can remove this manual file.

Installation

Download the ZIP and unpack it.
In WordPress go to Settings → General and set the site language to Français.
Copy medienupload-lite-fr_FR.mo via FTP or file manager to:
```
wp-content/languages/plugins/medienupload-lite-fr_FR.mo
```
Create the languages/ and plugins/ folders if needed.
Reload the WordPress admin – MedienUpload Lite should appear in French.

Important: do not put the .mo file inside the plugin folder – it belongs in wp-content/languages/plugins/.

Note about Pro

MedienUpload Pro already ships with French in the plugin package. This manual install is only for Lite (wordpress.org).
